Disaster Relief Fund

We live in a beautiful state, with incredible resources and attributes--but California is also prone to disasters, both human-made and natural, such as wildfires...earthquakes...severe storms...floods...and more.

If your home or campus has been damaged or destroyed by one of these types of disasters, the CTA Disaster Relief Fund is here to help.

The Disaster Relief Fund is a separate, special fund just for members of CCA/CTA. The fund is endowed to provide financial assistance to CCA/CTA members who have experienced significant losses due to disasters in California. Any CCA/CTA Active, Student CTA or CCA/CTA/NEA-Retired member in good standing may apply.

Grants are available for CCA/CTA members in the form of:

  • Cash grants of up to $1,500.00

  • Additional "Catastrophic Damage Grant" of up to $1,500 for losses in excess of $50,000

  • "School Site Grants" of up to $500 each

For more information, instructions and application forms, please visit CTA Disaster Relief Resources at www.cta.org/membership/benefits/Disaster+Relief+Fund.htm.
